How the economy has hurt us …

Some people have not really felt the effects of the economy.
You know, the rich people who don’t know what a days work is being that they have never done one!
The rest of us have scene gas prices go up, food prices rise because of gas prices going up and so many other variations that are to many to say in this silly part of the web I call my own, AKA my Bloguverse.
I, like so many others, have not gotten a raise in years.
There is even now a bill trying to take away 4 recent of my pay because us state employees make too much I guess.
Wow, when did that start and what am I doing with all that crazy cash?
It must be La Wife taking all of it to buy shoes, then having a storage unit to keep them in, then the gas to and fro to said storage unit to get said shoes … yea I think it is just a lie being put forth from our lovely government.
You know, the people that we elected in to keep us safe and protect us from things like this from happening!
I have a thought, lets see … if I voted for the pay cut, after they just gave themselves one I might add, does that sound like a good ideal if I wanted to get re-elected?
I mean ALL of the state employees must have a little voting power … right?
La Wife and I are living on the High Hog in real life terms.
We have a house, 2 vehicle (That are reliable) and jobs with benefits that don’t make us hate ourselves everyday when we go to them.
In this modern world that is saying so much!
We have had to cut out on … wait actually we haven’t had to change anything and in fact bought a new house, so again I have no room to complain.
This week though something did effect me.
I don’t normally talk about other people, so please take this as and for what it is …
Something bad, and all around rather upsetting.
We, who live in Central Florida anyway, know a man.
Some would say a Legend and some might say a myth when it comes to some of the stories about his greatness.
This man, has been called a Messiah.
He has single handedly whooped more men behind completely random locations then any combination of gangs out on the streets can claim as a whole.
He has written music to entertain us, making us both laugh and cry at times
He has supported our troops and stood up for the underdog.
So, if you haven’t figured it out, or heard because it did make the Orlando Sentinel’s front page … Bubby ‘Whoop Ass’ Wilson was let go do to budget cuts from Clear Channel Communications only show standing up against Howard Stern, The Monster in the Morning.
I know this kind of sounds like a joke but I think I need to pay some tribute to this man.
All joking aside …
He has made me laugh, he has made me darn near cry at times, he has made me stop and think, he has reminded me DAILY that we have troops over seas and then reminded me why they were over there.
I have listened to him for over a decade, wow that’s a long time now that I think about it.
The Monsters will go on, unhappily I might add form what they keep saying, and they will also keep supporting him, having him on the show when ever they can … just without pay.
So, the big economy finally hit me and I don’t like it!
Thanks a lot all you government types who are supposed to be looking out for us and just refuse to because money is more important then keeping your word as to what you would do for us as, the people depending on you.
It hurt me because I have lost someone I enjoy before his time.
I have it easy though.
He, like so many other people in the US, is now unemployed and having to worry about his family and how to pay the bills.
Wow, thanks big business and government!
We might be the greatest place in the world to live, and I do believe that, but I’ll be darned if we don’t need some help up in Washington!
I should run for some type of government position, I don’t know how to make people believe that I am going to look out for them but darn it I’m not going to get paid off and side with the wrong group for just a few bucks in my pocket!

So Bubba, like you have done to and for so many others, I salute you!

So I was watching TV, and …

I somehow got hooked on watching Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
For the few, the proud, the kept in a closet way to long because they still don’t understand why ‘I’ll be back’ is silly … this show is based on the Terminator movies.
You know, robots take over the world after AI is perfected and then they decide that humans are bad and try to kill us all … not being bale to they send the Governor of California back in time to kill the mother of the leader of the resistance … yea weak but it works and still makes money!
So, this is her life story, or was I should say because it just got canceled (Darn you Fox!)
Lets see if I can get back to some semblance of a point here …
I got an I-Phone!
I know, not what you were thinking but it does apply!
I love my phone!
I was going to get a second computer for La Wife and I but then I got a wonderful gift from some guy I think … yea it was a guy … why did he give it to me … was it stolen … why didn’t I go back to his place for that lollypop either now that I think about it …
O’ yea, back to the point …
I don’t think I can live without it now.
It doesn’t rule my life, but, it isn’t to far off I fear!
It does everything, no really people, almost literally everything.
So, what is the next step?
How far away from good old HAL 9000 are we at this point?
At what point are we going to let the computers take over, O come on, you know it isn’t to far off into the future.
We relay on computer so much now.
Try and go a week without touching one and tell me how long that lasts.
Work = Mandatory
Military = Mandatory
Personal life = … yea I will go with Mandatory!
Does the government have a back up plan for if the power goes out?
Does anyone know how to do just about anything anymore without Google or a print out?
I have said it before but America doesn’t produce anything.
We are consumers.
What does that mean when the power fails and we have to survive?
More then likely the rest of the world will be in the same boat … not that we will know because we can’t call them!
So, we don’t produce enough food to carry us over for very long.
Then again, how are we going to go about paying for things because none of us have cash anymore and the banks will not be working.
What about medications?
Without computers and machine companies how are we going to make them?
Wait a second … this might work out … this could be the answer to world overpopulation …
First off, everyone in the hospital and nursing homes will pass away …
Second, all of the rich snobs who don’t know how to work for a living will die off …
Thirdly, all of the politicians will be eaten because we will need food and lets face it we as American’s love our meat … they are a little fat most of them but we can use there fat as wax and blubber to keep us warm at night.
Then only the strong will survive!
They will not be able to drive answer mind you because the pumps don’t work, but they will survive!
Lets see who will make it …
Farmers and back woods hillbillies!
Yeppers, you know what will happen 5 years after the rednecks and hillbillies take over is don’t you?
That’s when the Intergalactic Federation of Planets will come down and see how our development is coming … and make us down as a ‘Do not bother coming back’ planet …
Not that any of this matters because in 2012 it’s all over anyway … Then I will get to meet God and ask all the important questions …
What ever happened to Hoffa’s body?

Why did we all care about JR enough to ask who shot him, wasn’t it enough that someone did already?
If Larry, Darryl and Darryl were all figments of Newheart’s dream, what did they represent?

If the little builder people know that the Fraggle’s are going to eat what they are building … why not move?
Speaking of Fraggle’s, if Popeye couldn’t make kids eat Spinach, what makes you think a piece of cloth with a hand in it’s bum can make kids eat radishes?

On that subject … Why did everyone keep lying to, and giving Fozzie a chance at a comedy career?
These are just a few of the things running through my head … aren’t you glad it isn’t yours!Just thinking aloud to myself, and hoping that HAL never wakes up into a real thing … keep dreaming HAL, keep dreaming …

So I used to be a little violent …

I used to have a temper.
I used to think I was the man and could take on the world.
I then got out of shape and lower my standards to the realization that just about anyone could beat me up.
Now I have been exercising again and although still way out of shape, I am feeling the cocky drive coming forth once again.
To the guy’s out there they know what I am saying and this means, I think I can take on the world … that 24 year old muscle’y kid with a black belt around his waist is still a punk and I can smack him down with one good James Bond style Judo Chop!

I mean this is kinda what I think I look like ... in my head anyway ...

To the woman who read this they see a pathetic guy who they agree with because they know it helps me by stroking my ego in the hopes that I will not go home and cry myself to sleep from the pathetic wretch I have become … aka old age, fat and lazy!

I studied martial arts off and on thought out my life … I was trained to be a killer by the Army and then also taught the ways of prison life survival as an officer … what does that mean in real life terms you might ask …

I know how to stand with pride and honor and prepare for the fight … OK it might need some work …

I know how to take a hit and my size, aka girth, means it’s harder to hurt me … so I can stand there and outlast the other guy … right?

I have learned that if things got out of hand … ok, more like when they get out of hand … I have a back up plan!

The truth though is, one thing is inevitable …

So, what does this do to my ego you might ask …

O, how my world sucks … time to go back to the gym … at least then I can justify my hard core champion ego until I am 40 I guess … I need a hobby!

The truth is though, I can beat up anyone under the age of … 5 and possibly almost everyone ove the age of 75, unless they are Asian Monks … at that point I think I can take them once they hit the death bed right before the last breath … then again more then likely not being, they are Hard Core to the end … them and Chuck Norris …So watch out world, I am not down for the count yet!!!

You know you have a keeper when …

Some times something might not be the best, or it might seem like the wrong time, or the doctor is still watching you after he heard grandma is thinking about taking you out of the will and you are alone in the room with her and the life support machine cord is right next to your foot and … sorry …
The point is, something comes a long and you just know it might be right for you.
That being said, a 2007 Harley Road King Classic is never wrong for me!

(I hope that if I keep thinking positive and showing people what I REALY want I might find it outside my door one day!)
Another thing that I have found to be right, at this moment anyway, is my La Wife.
She gets me, most of the time, and understands me, again most of the time, and tries to make me happy … at this point most of the time sounds stupid if I say it again doesn’t it?
She got me a great gift as always for my B-Day but the little side gift is what I am talking about today.
That’s right, the gift that I am sure is 1/10 the price of the other gift is getting all the noise today … the T-Shirt.
Most none of you will get it or understand it.
It is a plain gray shirt with a dirty blond headed boy wearing a gas mask asking the question “Are you my mummy?”
God that is classic, well, not so much it is only about 3 years old but I am going with it is going to be classic and the rest of the space time universe just needs to catch up.
You know, kind of like Pong … who knew it was going to be a classic right?
I know, gasmask, mummy, what does that have to do with anything and why is it even close to being a classic thing.
Ask all you want, she gets it and that’s what it is all about!
People ask why we are tighter sometimes, I mean she can do SO much better but we make it work.
So, some of you might not see things our way, but again, it’s our life!

Doe’s anyone else think it’s a bad thing that La Wife knows she will get shelved if ever see Wife #3?
My sweet little 24’ish year old Asian woman, with her green eyes and Irish accent … what’s a nice and proper way to say that she needs more then a training bra too … I will think about that and, wait, damn I typed it out didn’t I … O’ well backspace is annoying to hit that many times to remove it so deal with it!

Easter, what’s it all about …

All about the resurrection of Christ … um … let’s look at this for a second!

Let’s see, we all hear about how Bunnies and Eggs don’t go very well with the ideal of it all and how these things come from other religions, that after the Christians ransacked them, in a the hopes of keeping them appeased, let them keep some holidays and just renamed them.
Melded them in with other things so everyone was happy.

So how do we fix that you ask?

We hand out chocolate because everyone loves chocolate!

Then we all do evil things to said chocolate ...

You all might have noticed that I love debunking or commenting about holidays and in truth I was thinking about how I could do that to this one as well.
I also decided that I should play nice with others after my sister did a Blog about the day as well, and as much as I love up showing her I decided to let he have this day.

It really doesn’t matter were the roots come from,
Or that the timing is off,
Or even that Passover is … well … passed over and we now celebrate this Pagan/Heathen day …
(O come on you know I had to say something!)

It is now something different, it has evolved into a day that we step back and remember what was done for us.
Someone stepped forth and was tortured, humiliated and then gave up his life for us.
I have all kinds of jokes and silly things to stay and I keep backspacing over them.
So, I guess I do have a little faith … of a fear of repercussion?

Yea, so, that’s about it … I can’t believe I am keeping my mouth shut!
I got some killer stuff in my head too!

Go remember though what it is supposed to be about today, and not what it once was … it’s just like how we like looking at history and everything else that offends us, you know, we rewrite it and so that it lets us feel good about it and ourselves.

You know you are getting older when …

1) You go to church to raise your children in a positive environment that you yourself might not believe in for the hopes that they will turn out better then you did.
1.5) You have kids!
2) You swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid the child riding in the road instead of screaming ‘100 Points if his helmet comes off!’
3) You buy a filing cabinet to keep your important documents in.
3.5) You have important documents!
4) You realize that you job is worth staying at because it has good benefits.
4.5) You have a job with benefits.
5) You are worried when they send you a credit card offer for 10K, and you know you qualify.
6) You worry about your credit score instead of just putting that big purchase on your 10K credit card.
7) You notice that not only all them gray hairs in your head don’t bother you anymore, but also the declining lack of hair in general stopped bothering you as well.
8) You are proud of your strong work ethic … and like to think that others take note of it as well …
9) You stopped doing things because you understand consequences such as jail, STD’s and injury.
10) Things hurt … or everything hurts (Signs of why #9 is so important)
11) You respect and fulfill your obligations and responsibilities.

That’s just what’s going on in my head today, I need a hobby something bad and I know it so shut up already!
Something else that’s going on in my little head is how I am reading this book and it bring up some good points about things so many people question in the Bible.
This book is called 'The Science of God', it shows how the Bible and Science can work togther.
Basicaly, it breaks down the book of Genesis to help people see that you can believe in both.



Such as in the book of Genesis it says that on the fifth day God created man … ‘Let us make man in our image’ (Gen 1:26)
Question #1 – Wasn’t Adam made on day #6?
Question #2 – Let ‘US’ make man in ‘OUR’ image?
Yea follow-up on #2 please … Us and Our … plural wording?
Wait, wait, wait … The point I read form this is who says that this isn’t the proof of all the other ‘Man’ types like Cro-Magnon?
You know in most older Bibles it says eon not a day and how long is an eon?
Then God created man, AKA Adam as we all know. (Gen 2:7)

The best part I never noticed before is that on the third day God made Sea Monsters … God rocks and because of that one statement gives me all the proof I need to believe in Nessie … I never doubted you baby! (Gen1:21)

Just throwing out things other people already know, I keep reading he Bible over and over and keep finding things I never noticed before and this other book I am reading is just pointing some of them out … and people think that books are dumb?

Why is it that celebrities and politicians get away with almost anything?
The X VP of the USA not only shot a man in the head, but also got the guy he shot to apologize for it because it upset the VP.
I am SO in the wrong line of work!

Do you really want me to go digging through everyone else’s closets who is pointing fingers to see what there children did almost a decade ago?

To say that your child has never done anything wrong is a stupid person’s dream, sorry to burst the magical bubble around your head but kids do things that they can and will regret.
So much so, that they passed a law saying that a Juvenal record is not usable against them after becoming adults.
Not that I have taken advantage of that rule …
No kid is perfect … even according to some of the other books and stories about Jesus he had a few bad days … his mother though … would she have been able to throw that proverbial stone first?

Now, Politicians though … they get off themselves and there children because they know people.

It’s not fare, that’s all I am trying to say.
Equality does not exist in America anymore … that’s a good thing right?
Otherwise we would be Socialists and along the same line as Communism, it can look good on paper when written the right way, it never works out!
The thing is though, if I break the law and Chuck Norris breaks the law we need to be hit by the same standards of the law and treated as equals.
Wesley Snipes argued that he wasn’t tried by his peers … he is correct he wasn’t, that being said, I think we little people judged him correctly and his peers would not have.
I am just kind of ranting so that I have something to post, that being said, have a good day!

When will the big guy’s get smacked down like the rest of us for the things they do?

I guess we all need to remember one or two very important things.
1) It doesn’t matter who you know, how much money you have or what you look like … we should all be treated as equals.
2) Rule one doesn’t really apply to me because, as we all know, I AM better then the rest of you!
3) In the end we will all have to answer to the Big Guy, after all he knows what you are doing … or Karma, or what ever else you heathen pigs might believe in!

Onward with Government speak …

La Wife and I just had to get ready for a massive audit at work.
This was the big one.
The one that says ‘Hea, you all are doing good and can stay open with our approval!’
So we worked real hard, got everything done that everyone wanted done and cleaned things like you can’t believe.
The big belief is that if you throw fresh paint on it and clean everything else, you will pass … sadly, it normally works that way too.
All of that being said, let me tell you about this group of auditors.
We pay them to come and tell us how wonderful a job we are doing, not what we are doing wrong so much, although they will do that to, but for the most part just to tell us we are doing it aright.
They come, they judge, we give money they go away.
So the question is, if we are going to give hem money, aren’t they of course going to say we did good?
Otherwise, we will not invite you back to get more of said money!
They know that we know that they are coming so we clean and act like we are supposed to and follow the rules while they are visiting.
They know once they leave we are back to business as usual so come on, get real.
This is one of the things I hate about government work.
Someone is getting paid under the table and we all know it!
We don’t need this!
We don’t need some private company to come and do our jobs!
We don’t need small teddy bears crawling up next to us in our sleep to whisper how suicide could be such a positive thing in the long run!
NO I SAY!
We have auditors to audit auditors who audit other auditors.
Yea, that’s what I say!
Why?
So Little Johnny can get a job for his brother and then he for his wife and so on and on.
We as a people have voted all of these people into office and let them do this to us.
Wait, stop, lets re-say that … we THINK we have voted these people into office … yea that’s better …
They need a board to talk about if this is wrong or if this is ‘PC’ or whom they might offend if they do this and that.
Let me break it down for you, if it seems bad or you have a question about it … it more then likely is bad and/or will offend someone.
Next note, some people need to be offended though and don’t worry about re-election, do what is right and the people should stand with you … ok worry a little …
Side note: I have said this before but it needs to be said more … SNOW BIRDS SHOULDN’T BE ALOWED TO VOTE!
Back to the point … ish …
People get into politics saying it isn’t about the money … then how is it they vote a raise in every chance they get and I haven’t gotten one in 3 years and was told not to expect one this year either?
I can make it all work, I know I can.
If not me, I know people who can make it work.
Let’s see, Lobbyists … yea gone and out the door.
Foreign aid … lets cut that back a little and help our own people for a while.
Congressmen and Senators who never go to the clubhouse to vote or stand for a point but keep getting elected somehow … gone.
Yea I think on that one I would want to see a mandatory minimum work output for them.
No one would run a company like we run the Government and we all know it.
I am proud to be in American, and by God I will do what needs to be done to protect it, wait, no, to protect & save it.
That being said, how is it that we let these people tell us what to do and how to do it.
What happened to ‘Home of the Free’?The movie V for Vendetta has the main character say something, that they might have taken form somewhere else but I liked it and am going to use it so I will throw props to them for showing it to me, yea that made since … ‘The Government should be afraid of their people’.

I am not talking about pitchforks and guns along with a convoy of people up to DC, but I am also not so sure anymore that the fear of not getting re-elected again is a big enough consequence.
I mean come one, I want to go to all of the Florida congressmen and then smack most of them because they decided that it wasn’t a good ideal to pass a law against bestiality … WHAT?
Amendment #1 passed by you all and we are now borderline questioning if we will recover from that, and you all think that crazy barn yard love is still OK?
I love my dog people but come on!
What group was lobbying to keep that from passing?
PETA?
They are nuts and all but I don’t even think they would ever go that far … wait … yea they might have.
This was voted on and the majority thought it was a good thing to let keep happening?
How did they sell this ideal?
Congressmen/Senator, if you vote no on the bestiality law, you will never be charged at the goat rental stall again?
COME ON!

We are voting on this stuff?
Leads back to should we make Truck Balls illegal?
Also, how is that law saying that it is up to the owner of the establishment to decide if people can bring their animals into a restaurant or not working out?
I still don’t see anyone doing that one but how much money did we waist getting it on the books?
Also, why do people want everything on the Constitution?
Go ahead and say that it makes it the bottom line and it can’t be taken away form us!
How easy is it to legally carry a gun … what happens if I speak my mind to the President … how about being able to have my own militia incase the government gets a little crazy … or how about social security?
Speaking of that, what gives them the right to take my money and tell me I can’t have it?
They keep pushing the age back so far that I will be 72ish if and/or when I can finally collect it.
Yea, thanks for the help there I should have 2 full retirements at that point so I shouldn’t need it … if I do though I hope to collect it for at least the few years I have left in the nursing home because at that age it isn’t like I can travel the world or do a lot of other fun things!

Back to some semblance of a point though, when did we loose complete control of our station in life?
When did it become that the little guy didn’t have a voice, and was so far out of the loop that if he even tried to be heard he would be pushed away.
Everyone in DC knows each other and/or is related somehow.
The rest of us are just pawns to them, paying for there games.God Bless America, because we need all the help we can get … from ourselves!
