I am trying to think of something witty and funny to say … well that didn’t work so lets move on …
We are all moved in, well sorta … darn close anyway!
The Wife is grabbing the last carload of stuff from our ‘Vacation Home’ as I type.
I was left at home to put things away, I know, we all thought that she was smarter then that and that she would know I would be drawn to the computer to talk to people!
In fact though, I have almost finished the kitchen, well all the boxes are empty anyway … as for if the things are where they will be staying that is up to her.
I also finished sewing up the Sofa so that all of the fluffy goodness would stop coming to visit us … what you didn’t know that I could sew?
Me either so don’t feel to bad!
Some of you might remember the hand-me-down green sofa and love seat that was all cut up by my boss’s cat and should have been thrown away … I should have known then that he and I might not get along in the long run … well we got bored and foggy!
We decided that we could not afford new furniture, or to have this stuff recovered.
We then decided to sew up the cuts and then patch up the holes … this sounded like a good ideal at the time and very cost efficient too …
So about 20 combined hours, on the love seat alone I must point out, into this we started thinking that it might have been worth the effort to just have someone else do it, being that we had done so much though, and that we are fools, we decided to see it through.
It wasn’t so pretty … so we needed to do more …
We got Sofa and Love Seat Covers!
Now they have a brown micro fiber cover and it looks, well not so bad … that might be because they are in a dark room but that is not the point right now so drop it already!
We are almost done unpacking and Wonder Mutt is finally feeling like this place might not be so bad after all … and also that it smells like a urinal too I might add … GRR!
Just a quick update.

Congrats!!! You have waited patiently and worked hard and now the fun starts. No not that, you perverts!! Christening every room is something we don't need to hear about or even know for that matter. So stop talking about it. I'm talking about enjoying your new home. By the way, it's time to start cooking and inviting people to come over and inspect your new digs. Food. I want food. Ribs are always good (yours especially).
So, when's dinner?
