Well, as I said it is Monday and some holiday or another that lets me have the day off.
Wow I love having a government job … sometimes that is!
So let me tell you how I spent most of my weekend!!!
Friday, I came home and packed up all the bookshelves and books.
Saturday, I ended up helping a friend fix his car and then spending the night alone as the wife left me to go hang with her real friends.
Sunday, I packed the Kitchen.
So you all know, the books in our little house filled 8 LARGE boxes.
The Kitchen stuff, and it is not done yet I still have plates and glasses to pack, has taken up another 10 boxes.
Now the point I am trying to make is ... like so many others we have to much Junk!
It has sentimental value we say ... then why is it we only look at it when we move?
I am starting to think that if it has been in the back of my closet for 4 years and 3 years before that being still packed form the last couple of moves I might not need it?
Why can't I throw it away then?
This being said, packing and moving sucks!
Why are we packing and moving you might ask?
Well the roof in one parts of our mobile home decided it wishes to visit it’s not so distant relative the floor.
They are getting along wonderfully so much that it looks as though they might become even closer moving in with each other on the floor.
The wife and I being nice people have decided that nothing should stand in the way of love and that we, being the better people we think, are buying a new mobile home.
I know, wow a trailer … no not exactly, this place is nice and fits our budget of poor.
3 bedroom 2 bath, living, dinning and family room.
The kitchen and the family room are what sold us but when I get it I will post some pictures to try and show that we are not completely off of our rockers ...
With another mobile home we can stay were we are at and that in the long run saves us so much money it is stupid.
Ok that being said, I have to give some props to my Dad and Step Mom.
We invited them to come look at this place we were interested in and then we got smacked with the mighty * and the extra fee’s.
Dad and the Step Mom stepped up and helped us out … a lot actually … and helped us to be able to make our little home ours.
How sweet I know I think I am going to barf on my keyboard just typing it out.
I also think it needs to be said that they came through for us without being asked and have been very helpful and nice about it.
I guess that’s what family is for?
No one ever asks me for anything but they all know I am poor and live so far away … yea that’s it … right?
Not that I am lazy and good for nothing … right???I wanted to get into some of the issues I spoke about in the first Blog but the wife is now up and maybe, just maybe, I can spend some time with her this weekend?
